My hubby once presented me a book - Parisian Chic - by Ines de la Fressange and Sophie Gachet. A little six-point guide which explains the Parisian style and teaches you a few golden rules. A brilliant reading for someone who a) doesn't know how to dress; b) is not really bothered about it.
But surprisingly I thoroughly enjoyed it. And exactly a year later I seem to have in my wardrobe the "Magnificent Seven": a blazer, a trench coat, a navy sweater, a tank top, a little black dress, jeans, and a leather jacket.
Having subscribed to various fashion Facebook pages just before NY Fashion Week has started, I have been looking at the beautiful girls wearing stunning clothes, and I decided I would make a little selection of the clothes (from the Vogue photos collection) I would buy (if... I had enough balance on my credit card, and size 6 to squeeze into those pieces).
So my work outfit choice...
(Hedi Slimane's debut for Saint Laurent)
And the one I'd choose for those 'networking' events..
And if I'd had enough strength to carry on partying after, perfect Versace night out outfit for me!
And if my friend decides to get married, I would wear stunning Oscar de la Renta to her wedding! (P.S. Please don't make in Russia!)
And when I decide to replace my boring Hobbs raincoat, Burberry two-tone caped trench coat will be the first one on the list of contenders.
And...finally! I couldn't make up my mind and choose between these two little black dresses by Victoria Beckham!
On Monday I am turning 25! So I decided to take a day off and celebrate it by attending Ballgowns exhibition at V&A museum with my friend. By then my camera will hopefully make through the UK Boader Agency with a bunch of beautiful flowers and a present!
