City Wedding

This weekend the City of London hosted a beautiful wedding in the the stunning location of The Royal Exchange which was founded in 1565 by Sir Thomas Gresham and was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth I. Having ceased to act as a centre of commerce in 1939, it has been transformed into luxurious shopping centre.

Being a girl, I can never resist the temptation to watch the beautiful wedding, and this time I even took a chance and followed the official photographer to take some photos for the blog. Funny enough most people decided I was a part of the wedding, so at some  point I had to confess to the father of bride that I was in fact taking my friend to do sightseeing that day and simply was taking photos for myself. I had to promise that I would send him some... which I would. But having got his email address I managed to find out his actual address, so will do a small book with these photos and send them to him as a gift. Would love to see his face when he gets to open! :)

Update: Received email from the father of the City Bride today:

"Dear Tasha

I received the CD of photos you posted to me today. I looked through them and think there are just wonderful. You are a very talented photographer.

Thank you very much for taking the time and trouble to send these to me. I will show them to the newly weds and my family and I know they will be most happy.

Thank you once again and best wishes,

David"
