Madrid is beautiful...Upon arrival I have learnt that we were not coming back to London until the one day after I thought we would and had to call my partner leaving him a long and apologetic message in line of ...I am in Madrid. It's very beautiful. The only downside is that I am not back to work until Tuesday...If I am still working with...and so on and so on...
Oopsy Daisy!
If you have never been to Madrid, go! It's an amazing city with its own vibes which are hard to explain. Having combined 'the must do' list with the children entertainment we had a pleasure of seeing and trying all sorts of 'tourist hats'. Well, travelling with 2.5 year old is probably limiting your possibilities of seeing /doing things but in our case the only thing we could not see and would be definitely coming back for it - was flamenco tablaos.
The trick of travelling with little (well, not that little any more) one is to mix things, including indoors and outdoors. We managed to enjoy the beautiful Royal Palace and Prado during his naps which are still very handy :)
I am sure there are plenty of travels guides about Madrid, which would tell you all you need to know before you jet off, as well as photos of all major sightseeing places..
My Madrid in the photos here is one of my own, the one I enjoyed and the one I fell in love with.
